Power Ranking Legitimate NFL Super Bowl LX Contenders
It looks like the Christmas Day slate of NFL games is going to be massively underwhelming.
While there will not be many playoff teams representing themselves on Netflix this Christmas, other organizations will be gearing up for actual title runs later this winter.
Before NFL Week 17 kicks off, let’s take a look at actual contenders that have a chance at winning Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California this February.
Los Angeles Rams (+470 on FanDuel)
Listen, I know the Rams just had a high-profile loss against the Seattle Seahawks in primetime.
The thing is, I am trusting Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay in the postseason more than I trust Sam Darnold, who tossed two interceptions in the loss and was almost defeated by Philip Rivers the week prior.
The top of the NFC is loaded and the Rams have been without Davante Adams, who led the league in touchdown receptions prior to a hamstring injury.
But the McVay-Stafford combination is playoff tested and they have already won a title. It could be time for them to add another.

Buffalo Bills (+850 on FanDuel)
There’s really no excuse for Josh Allen and the Bills this season.
Upstart teams like the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots have not had the same postseason reps that the Bills have had.
In a tournament without Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow or Lamar Jackson, there is no reason for the Bills to slip up, despite having a shaky receiver room. Despite being a question mark at points throughout the year, Buffalo’s defense is better than it has been previously.
Run the ball with Allen and James Cook, find a way to get Keon Coleman involved, and the Bills have no more excuses.

New England Patriots (+1000 on FanDuel)
It feels like Mike Vrabel’s Patriots are the one team that could actually stand in Buffalo’s way.
The Patriots play balanced football. They are well coached. Second-year quarterback Drake Maye has been one of the best passers in the league.
Everything around this Patriots squad feels like the Patriots of old, which should be great news come playoff time.
Philadelphia Eagles (+900 on FanDuel)
The Eagles do not seem ready to repeat as Super Bowl champions, but you cannot rule it out quite yet.
While Nick Sirrianni’s offense doesn’t look quite right, you can’t ignore that the Eagles have a talented quarterback in Jalen Hurts and two of the best receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Oh yeah, that Saquon Barkley fella isn’t bad, either.
It has not always been sunny in Philadelphia this season, but the Eagles have too much talent to be an afterthought.

Seattle Seahawks (+650 on FanDuel)
Darnold has turned around his career, sure. But can he really win a Super Bowl? He threw two interceptions against the Rams and nearly lost to Philip Rivers the week prior.
The Seahawks deserve respect because of their dominant regular season. But at +650, you can find better value bets.
But the Seahawks are very good defensively. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the best receiver in football right now. And they know how to run the football.
